MAYA, as a non-profit sub-group of the Diocese of Newton, solely relies on the generosity of the Diocese for all of its funding. Semi-annually the group meets for retreats that are organized internally by its board members, which consist of democratically elected peers from within the group. Recently over the past few year the number of members and attendees has steadily increased. Due to this growth in membership as an organization, we have expanded our efforts to achieve more support from our communities. Becoming a sponsor of MAYA ensures affordable cost for it's members to attend the retreats.
